Duties Conduct pest inspections and identify pest species using entomology knowledge to determine appropriate treatment plans. Apply pesticides and chemical agents following pesticide management guidelines and safety protocols. Operate ladders safely to access hard-to-reach areas for treatment or inspection, adhering to ladder safety procedures. Use hand tools, farm machinery, or lawn care equipment as needed for outdoor pest control or landscaping tasks. Perform confined space entry safely when required for specialized treatments or inspections. Maintain detailed records of pesticide applications, chemical handling procedures, and service reports for compliance purposes. Communicate clearly with customers to explain treatment plans, safety precautions, and follow-up steps while providing exceptional customer service. Drive company vehicles responsibly while adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards during daily operations. Implement integrated pest management strategies that emphasize environmentally responsible solutions and sustainable practices. Follow respiratory protection protocols when handling chemicals or working in enclosed or dusty environments. Qualifications Prior experience in pest control, outdoor work, lawn care, farming, landscaping, agriculture, or related fields is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and farm machinery is a plus. Familiarity with pesticide application techniques and chemical agent handling procedures is essential. Knowledge of ladder use, ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, and respiratory protection standards is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about pest issues and treatments. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles responsibly. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocol adherence.
