Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Pest Control Technician and become a vital part of protecting homes, businesses, and outdoor spaces from unwanted pests! In this energetic role, you will apply your expertise in pest management, safety procedures, and customer service to deliver effective solutions. Your mechanical knowledge, outdoor work experience, and ability to operate company vehicles and farm machinery will help ensure pest issues are resolved efficiently and professionally. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in clients' environments while working in diverse outdoor settings. Duties Conduct pest inspections and identify pest species using entomology knowledge to determine appropriate treatment plans. Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely following pesticide management protocols and safety regulations, including respiratory protection and confined space entry safety procedures. Utilize hand tools, ladders, and farm machinery to access hard-to-reach areas such as attics, crawl spaces, or outdoor structures while adhering to ladder safety procedures. Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation between job sites, ensuring compliance with all driving safety standards. Implement integrated pest management strategies that prioritize environmentally responsible solutions and customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of pesticide applications, chemical handling procedures, and service reports for regulatory compliance. Engage with customers professionally to explain pest control methods, answer questions, and ensure a positive experience. Skills Strong knowledge of pest control techniques, pesticide application processes, and chemical agent handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, lawn care equipment, farming implements, or land management machinery. Familiarity with ladder use, ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, and respiratory protection protocols. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work expertise in lawn care, farming, landscaping or agriculture environments. Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly; valid driver's license required. Knowledge of integrated pest management principles combined with a commitment to safety protocol adherence for effective pest control solutions. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
