We expect every team member to hold themselves to it on every account. The Role We're hiring a Pest Control Technician to join our growing field team. You'll service a mix of commercial accounts across NYC, working both day and night shifts to meet client needs — including after-hours treatments for restaurants, hotels, and other occupied properties. You'll work under the guidance of our certifying applicator and senior field leadership, with real opportunity to grow as the company scales. Responsibilities Service commercial accounts including hotels, offices, restaurants, multifamily apartment buildings, medical and healthcare facilities, coffee shops, and similar properties across NYC and the surrounding metro area Perform inspections, treatments, and follow-ups for common commercial pest issues (rodents, cockroaches, ants, bed bugs, stored product pests, occasional invaders, and more) Apply your active NY pesticide license to perform treatments and maintain compliance with all state and local application requirements Work rotating day and night shifts, including after-hours and weekend service for accounts that require treatment outside business hours Build and maintain strong relationships with facility managers, GMs, and on-site staff, representing GNPC as a trusted, professional partner rather than a vendor Maintain accurate service records, treatment logs, and compliance documentation for every account Identify recurring issues and recommend proactive treatment plans, helping clients move from reactive pest control to prevention Follow GNPC's standard operating procedures, service protocols, and quality standards, and provide feedback to help refine them Maintain compliant chemical handling, storage, and transport per NYSDEC and OSHA guidelines Use field-service software to check in, complete field reports, log chemicals etc What you bring 2-5 years of hands-on pest control experience , ideally with commercial account exposure (hospitality, food service, healthcare, or office/commercial property experience preferred) An active New York State pesticide applicator/technician certification in good standing Working knowledge of IPM (Integrated Pest Management) practices and commercial compliance standards A professional, polished presence

• comfortable representing the company in a hotel lobby, a hospital corridor, or a commercial kitchen Excellent communication skills and a service mindset; you treat every account like it's your own business Comfort working independently and managing your own route and schedule Flexibility to work both day and night shifts , including evenings and weekends as accounts require Experience with NYC commercial pests, including bed bugs, in occupied settings such as hotels, restaurants, and healthcare facilities is a plus Schedule This role covers both day and night shifts•daytime service for most commercial accounts, plus evening/overnight treatments for restaurants, hotels, and other properties that require after-hours service Field-based role with daily travel to client sites across the NYC metro area; a company vehicle is provided Occasional emergency/same-day response Physical Requirements Lift and carry equipment and materials up to approximately 50 lbs Climb ladders and stairs; kneel, crouch, and work in basements, crawlspaces, and confined or tight spaces Wear and work in personal protective equipment, including a respirator where required Tolerate exposure to pesticides and to varied indoor and outdoor conditions Good Neighbor Pest Co.
