Duties Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points. Apply pesticides, chemical agents, and integrated pest management techniques safely and effectively according to regulatory guidelines. Operate company vehicles, power tools, ladders, and farm machinery to access hard-to-reach areas or outdoor spaces. Follow strict safety protocols including respiratory protection, confined space entry procedures, ladder safety procedures, and chemical handling regulations. Educate customers on pest prevention strategies and provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns professionally. Maintain detailed records of pesticide applications, chemical inventories, and treatment reports for compliance purposes. Collaborate with team members on pest control strategies involving lawn care, landscaping, farming practices, or agriculture-related tasks. Experience Valid state licensure as a Pest Control Technician with comprehensive knowledge of pesticide management and application techniques. Demonstrated experience in pest control operations within outdoor environments such as farms, gardens, or landscaped areas. Familiarity with entomology principles to accurately identify pests and recommend appropriate treatments. Hands-on experience with ladder use, ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, and the operation of farm machinery or power tools. Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly. Knowledge of safety protocols related to chemical agent handling, respiratory protection equipment usage, and pesticide application regulations.
