Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods, as well as a passion for providing excellent customer service. This position requires both technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients about pest management solutions. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points. Develop and implement effective pest control strategies tailored to each client's needs. Apply pesticides and other treatments safely and according to regulations. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment plans and follow-up visits. Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and the importance of regular maintenance. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as necessary for various tasks. Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and travel to job sites efficiently. Skills Strong knowledge of pest control methods, including chemical and non-chemical treatments. Experience in sales is a plus, as you will be required to recommend additional services to clients. Background in lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is beneficial. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential for this role. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally and effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
