Job Overview Green Shield Pest Pros is growing, and we're looking for a dependable, customer-focused Pest Control Technician to join our team serving Columbus and surrounding communities. You'll inspect homes and businesses, perform pest control treatments, and help customers understand how to prevent future pest problems. Responsibilities Inspect residential and commercial properties for pest activity, entry points, and conditions contributing to pest problems. Apply pest control treatments according to product labels, company procedures, and applicable safety requirements. Install and service traps, monitoring devices, and other pest control equipment. Explain inspection findings, treatments, and prevention recommendations clearly to customers. Complete accurate service records, including treatment details, photos, and follow-up recommendations, using mobile service software. Manage your daily route, arrive within scheduled service windows, and communicate promptly about delays or customer concerns. Drive company vehicles safely and keep vehicles, equipment, and materials clean, organized, and properly maintained. Support fellow team members and help maintain consistent service quality. Skills and Qualifications Dependability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow treatment and safety procedures. Clear communication skills and a professional, respectful attitude with customers and coworkers. Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company vehicle requirements. Comfort using a smartphone and mobile apps to manage appointments and document services. Ability to operate hand tools and pest control equipment safely. Ability to perform hands-on work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Willingness to learn and complete training for applicable pest control credentials. Pest control experience and current Ohio pest control credentials are preferred. Candidates with relevant field service experience and a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
