Job description Are you a Wildlife Biologist or Entomologist looking to combine your degree with a trade? Or are you a tradesman with experience with roofs, 28 and 40 foot ladders? We are a pest control company servicing residential customers. While we provide service for ants & bees, we specialize in bat & mice control. A significant part of the process is educating customers about the habits and behaviors of bats & mice so they understand our process. Bat control involves sealing up existing construction gaps on a home and installing one-way door devices to allow bats to exit unharmed. •This job is NOT related to caring for animals or rehabilitation. This job is for the person with an aptitude for home repair, roofing, siding or carpentry trades. Attention for detail is important with this trade. We want someone with a great personality that is looking for a job mixing physical, wildlife biology and sales skills. This is a physical job requiring lifting heavy 50+ pounds bulky ladders, squirming through attics & tight spaces, working at heights such as on roofs or ladders 40 feet in the air. As our employee, we will provide training and all the equipment. You bring an open mind, ambition, and an eagerness to develop your skills for a long-term career as our employee. Our candidate must be self-motivated, able to work independently, yet able to accept directions and follow company policies. You must be able to communicate with customers effectively and in a professional manner. You must have the physical ability to manage 28-40ft ladders, and no fear of heights. Plenty of driving. Daily hours will vary depending on the season.
