Job Description

Pest Control Sales & Service Technician (Hybrid Role) Rodent Solutions Inc. is looking for a motivated, professional, and adaptable team member to fill a hybrid Sales & Service Technician role within our growing company. This is a unique position designed for someone who can operate both in the field and in customer-facing inspection and sales situations when needed. We are not looking for aggressive salespeople or pushy closers. We are looking for reliable professionals who can:
  • Communicate well with homeowners and commercial clients
  • Follow company systems and processes
  • Identify pest problems
  • Present solutions confidently, with clarity
  • Perform quality field work for pest issues
  • Contribute to long-term customer relationships Most leads are warm, generated through our internal marketing systems.
Customers are already calling us because they have an existing problem that needs to be solved. What This Role Includes This is a hybrid role with a heavy emphasis on inspections, customer interaction, solution-based sales, and recurring service growth. Depending on company needs, responsibilities may include:
  • Inspections for rodent, pest, bat, wildlife, and exclusion inspections
  • Identifying entry points, conducive conditions, and contamination issues
  • Presenting customers with complete corrective solutions
  • Selling exclusion & decontamination services.
  • Recommending add-on services when appropriate (termite, mosquito, etc.), recurring programs
  • Educating homeowners on long-term prevention and protection
  • Building recurring customer relationships instead of focusing only on one-time sales
  • Performing pest control and rodent service work when needed
  • Rodent trapping and bait station service
  • Attic inspections
  • Warranty renewal inspections and follow-up visits
  • Documenting findings with our CRM, photos, and detailed inspection notes
  • Following company inspection and sales systems This position is heavily customer-facing and requires someone who is comfortable with:
  • Communicating professionally with homeowners
  • Presenting solutions confidently
  • Identifying additional service opportunities
  • Helping customers understand the value of long-term protection programs The ideal candidate understands that recurring services, customer retention, customer service, and comprehensive protection plans are key to long-term success in this role.
This role is designed for someone who can adapt, grow, and become a valuable long-term part of the company. What We're Looking For We require: First and foremost, Uncompromised Ethics with company staff and customers. Professionalism with both written and verbal communication. Confidence in speaking when presenting to clients Being coachable and willing to learn Construction inclined and observant to identify all entry points Detail-oriented with all levels of the job Organized and process-driven for repeatable and predictable results. Capable of working independently Comfortable climbing ladders and inspecting attics when necessary Interested in long-term career growth Capable of functioning in a team environment Experience in pest control, wildlife, roofing, HVAC, restoration, home services, construction estimating, and or customer-facing field service work is a plus — but not required for the right candidate.
Compensation Base Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00/hour (Based on experience).
Retention Bonus:
1% annual bonus for all recurring accounts acquired and retained. (After your 60 days)
Performance Pay:
Uncapped commission on additional services and performance bonuses. (After your 60 days).
PTO:
64 hours of PTO (Grows annually) and paid major holidays (After 60 days).
Health Plan:
Company-paid health discount plan (After 60 days)
Schedule Schedule:
Monday- Friday. 7:15-4 pm. No nights, no weekends. Paid for a 30-minute lunch. Extra OT is frequently offered but not required.
