Job Description
Bill Clark Pest Control, Inc., has been serving Southeast Texas for over 68 yrs. Bill Clark Pest Control is seeking a dependable Utility Technician to provide quality pest and termite management services for residential and commercial clients. This role requires technical knowledge, strong customer service skills, attention to safety, and the ability to apply materials in accordance with company standards and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service assigned residential and commercial accounts according to company standards.
- Assist with other routes, new accounts, and duties in other departments as assigned.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding service performed, expectations, and conditions that may contribute to pest activity.
- Handle client requests promptly and within contract guidelines.
- Maintain proper chemical, material, equipment, and tool inventory.
- Stay informed on technical data, chemicals, materials, and applicable pest control regulations.
- Complete invoices, service orders, production reports, and required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and properly operating vehicle and equipment.
- Follow company policies for dress code, cell phone use, attendance, scheduling, and timekeeping.
- Attend required training meetings and scheduled seminars.
- Support client retention, collections, and new business efforts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Able to speak, read, write, and understand English, the primary language used in the workplace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Commitment to excellence, high standards, and professional customer service.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work with changing priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse client populations.
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to meet company insurability requirements.
Physical and Work Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as squatting, kneeling, entering and exiting a vehicle, and lifting hands overhead.
- Ability to safely drive for both short and extended periods.
- Ability to remain alert while on the job and use required safety equipment, including respirators and foot/toe protection when needed.
- Must have adequate vision, hearing, and sense of smell to safely perform job duties.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Flexible schedule availability to meet company and client needs.
