Job Description

Job Summary Authority Pest Protection LLC is a family-owned pest control company that has been protecting homes and businesses in the Texas Hill Country for over 9 years. We serve Bulverde, Spring Branch, Canyon Lake, New Braunfels, Schertz, Selma, Garden Ridge, and North San Antonio. At Authority, we're built on a foundation of integrity, excellent service, and genuine care for our customers — and we bring that same commitment to our team. We're looking for a dependable, customer-focused Pest Control Technician to join the Authority Pest Protection family. In this role, you'll be the face of our company in the field — inspecting properties, applying treatments, and delivering the excellent service our customers have come to expect over the past 9 years.   • Conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections for signs of pests and rodents, including attics and crawl spaces.
  • Identify pest types and determine the most effective treatment plan for each situation.
  • Apply pesticides, baits, and traps safely in and around buildings and the surrounding environment.
  • Safely remove wasp and hornet nests from structures.
  • Strategically position bait stations and traps to eliminate rodent activity.
  • Take accurate measurements to estimate treatment scope and cost.
  • Provide customers with clear estimates for one-time treatments and recurring maintenance plans.
  • Offer sound advice on both chemical and natural pest control options.
  • Recommend additional products and services to support long-term pest control.
  • Communicate professionally with customers via phone, text, email, and face-to-face.
  • Log materials, service notes, and communicate with customers and team.
  • Lots of driving. Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must own a personal cell phone with internet access
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Comfortable using mobile apps
  • Have basic math skills
  • Reliable, Punctual, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Willing and able to work 8-hour days
  • Comfortable with extensive driving and walking throughout the workday
  • Ability to work in hot and cold outdoor environments year-round

Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 30.0 per week
