This position is responsible for inspecting homes and structures for termite and rodent activity, performing termite treatments, completing rodent exclusion work, and repairing the areas that allow pests to enter or cause damage.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is comfortable working on roofs and in crawl spaces, and understands that quality exclusion work is about finding the why behind the pest problem and fixing it—not just treating the symptoms. Responsibilities Perform thorough inspections for termites, rodents, and conditions that contribute to pest activity. Perform termite treatments and related termite services. Identify and seal rodent and pest entry points around homes and structures. Install exclusion materials designed to prevent future pest entry. Inspect and work on roofs to identify and seal open roof returns, vents, gaps, and other potential entry points. Safely use and climb a variety of ladders. Work safely in crawl spaces and under homes when necessary. Perform basic carpentry and structural repairs related to termite and rodent damage. Repair or replace damaged wood, drywall, vents, and other materials as needed. Use hand tools and power tools to complete exclusion and repair work. Work with our pest control technicians to develop complete solutions for termite and rodent problems. Explain recommended work and completed repairs to customers in a professional manner. Maintain accurate service records and document completed work. Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional condition. What We're Looking For Previous termite and/or pest exclusion experience preferred. Construction, carpentry, or home-repair experience is a strong plus. Must be 21 years of age or older . Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum 3 years of driving experience . Comfortable working with heights and on roofs. Comfortable climbing and working from different types of ladders. Must use all company-provided fall protection equipment when required. Comfortable working in crawl spaces and other difficult-to-access areas. Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials. Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently while also being part of a team. Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.
