J oin Paragon Pest Control, a local, owner-operated team providing expert rodent exclusion and pest prevention across DFW! We provide fully paid training, state licensing, and a company vehicle. No pest experience required - just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Our founder started in the field as a Pest and Rodent Control Technician doing the exact same work you'll be doing. Because we are technician-owned, we actually get it. We don't set impossible quotas, and you'll never be pressured to oversell a service a customer doesn't need. We provide the right tools, realistic schedules, and a culture that values the people doing the work. Duties Conduct detailed inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify active and potential rodent entry points and signs of pest activity. Implement structural exclusion (sealing entry points), trapping, and monitoring systems using hand and power tools - including work on rooflines, ladders, crawlspaces, and attics. Mix and apply structural pesticide treatments per label and safety standards. Apply pest and rodent prevention measures and recommend ongoing maintenance plans to clients. Use habitat modification strategies and rodent behavior knowledge to solve problems permanently. Maintain detailed records of service visits, treatments applied, and client interactions. Safely operate a company vehicle across a designated DFW route. Engage with clients to explain treatment plans and answer questions about pest management services. Keep equipment clean and well-maintained between service calls. Experience Prior experience in pest control, roofing, construction, lawn care, landscaping, or sales is preferred but not required - we train the right person. Pest control licensing or prior experience may influence starting pay rate. Required Skills Strong verbal communication skills; must be comfortable explaining services to homeowners. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Comfortable with heights, tight spaces, and physical work in varying outdoor conditions. Ability to crawl, kneel, and squat in restricted spaces and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic smartphone proficiency for routing and digital service logs. Familiarity with hand or power tools is a plus. We review applications regularly and respond to every qualified candidate.
