Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure a safe and pest-free environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently. Duties Conduct detailed inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem. Develop and implement effective pest control strategies tailored to each client's needs. Utilize various methods and tools, including power tools and hand tools, to apply pesticides safely and efficiently. Operate farm machinery as needed for specific pest control tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by educating clients on pest prevention techniques and maintenance practices. Maintain accurate records of services performed, products used, and any follow-up actions required. Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to safety protocols. Skills Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery related to pest control tasks. Knowledgeable in landscape management and lawn care practices that support pest prevention efforts. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and sales techniques. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with pest control methods, regulations, and safety standards is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
