Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest problems in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. This position requires a commitment to safety and adherence to all regulatory guidelines. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem. Apply appropriate pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed. Develop customized pest management plans based on specific client needs. Provide lawn care and landscape maintenance services as part of integrated pest management solutions. Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and recommend follow-up services. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including products used and any follow-up actions required. Drive to various job sites in a timely manner while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in pest control or related fields is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery is advantageous. Knowledge of lawn care and landscape practices is a plus. Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service offerings to clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must be able to pass any required background checks or certifications as mandated by local regulations.
