Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pest Control Technician and become a vital defender against unwanted pests! In this energetic role, you will deliver effective pest management solutions by inspecting, treating, and preventing pest issues across diverse environments. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible pest control services that keep our clients protected and satisfied. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills, outdoor work experience, and knowledge of pest management techniques in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial sites to identify pest activity and entry points. Apply chemical agents safely and accurately following pesticide management protocols and safety regulations. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and ladders to access hard-to-reach areas for treatment or repairs. Implement integrated pest management strategies to provide long-term solutions tailored to each client's needs. Maintain detailed records of chemical applications, pest activity, and service reports in compliance with safety protocols. Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to all driving safety guidelines. Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and answer questions regarding pest control methods and safety procedures. Training provided Qualifications Proven experience or familiarity with pest control practices, pesticide application knowledge, and chemical agent handling. Ability to obtain or currently hold a pest control applicator license/certification, if required by state or local law. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, ladders (including ladder safety procedures). Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously, including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection measures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Basic phone, tablet, or app skills for completing service reports and scheduling updates. Outdoor work experience in environments such as lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred. Must be able to pass a background check and/or drug screening, if required. Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks requiring lifting, climbing ladders, using hand tools, and working in various weather conditions.
