Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing pest control services for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pest management techniques, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate various tools and machinery. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining a pest-free environment for our clients. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans. Apply pesticides and other pest control products safely and effectively, following all regulations and safety guidelines. Utilize farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools as needed for pest control tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on pest prevention methods. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and follow-up recommendations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and techniques in pest control. Requirements Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with farm machinery, lawn care practices, and landscape maintenance is a plus. Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service offerings to clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for travel between job sites. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Willingness to undergo any necessary training or certification related to pest control practices.
