Key ResponsibilitiesRoute & Customer Service:
Complete daily routes on schedule, call ahead before arrival, greet customers professionally, explain services performed, and document all work accurately in the company system.
Treatment Application:
Perform interior/exterior pest treatments per label instructions, SDS guidelines, and TDA/state/federal regulations (FIFRA, Texas Occupations Code Ch. 1951). Set and service monitoring devices, bait stations, and traps; identify conducive conditions and recommend exclusion work.
Pest Identification:
Accurately identify common insects, arachnids, rodents, and wildlife found in the Houston/Texas market; flag potential wood-destroying organisms; assess new accounts and report findings to the office.
Marketing & Reviews:
Capture before/after photos, share content through company platforms, solicit customer reviews, and maintain a professional appearance and vehicle presentation at every stop.
Vehicle & Equipment Care:
Conduct pre-trip inspections, keep vehicle and chemical storage areas clean and compliant, maintain and calibrate application equipment, and manage product inventory.
Licensing & Training:
Maintain a valid TDA pest control license/registration, complete required CEUs, stay current on regulations and product updates, and mentor new technicians in the field.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow
OSHA/EPA/TDA
safety protocols, apply products strictly per label, report any non-target exposure incidents immediately, and maintain clean, uncontaminated work areas.
