Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points. Apply chemical pest control agents safely and effectively following all pesticide management and safety protocols. Operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, farm machinery, and ladders with adherence to ladder safety procedures and equipment handling standards. Develop and implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies tailored to each property's needs, emphasizing environmentally responsible practices. Perform confined space entry safety procedures when necessary for specialized treatments or inspections. Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, pest activity reports, and treatment logs in compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining pest control solutions clearly and addressing client concerns professionally. Follow all safety protocols including respiratory protection measures and chemical handling guidelines to ensure personal and team safety. Stay current with entomology knowledge to accurately identify pests and recommend effective control methods. Operate ladders safely for access to elevated areas during inspections or treatments in outdoor or indoor environments. Manage future crew calendars and help the operations manager Qualifications Proven experience in pest control operations or related fields such as farming, landscaping, agriculture, or outdoor work environments. Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and ladder use is essential for efficient job performance. Strong understanding of pesticide application techniques, pesticide management practices, and integrated pest management principles. Knowledge of chemical agent handling procedures with strict adherence to safety protocols including respiratory protection requirements. Familiarity with confined space entry safety procedures and the safe operation of company vehicles. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards for ladder use and outdoor work activities. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating farm machinery or similar equipment is a plus. Willing to learn more about arborist & water quality.
