Pest Control Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing effective pest control solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations
• Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on the specific needs of each property
• Apply pesticides and other pest control products in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations
• Install traps, baits, and other pest control devices as necessary
• Monitor treated areas to ensure effectiveness of treatments and make adjustments as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about pest control methods
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork

Requirements:

• Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of pests, their habits, and effective control methods
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Sales skills to upsell additional services or products to clients
• Familiarity with landscape or farm machinery is a plus
• Valid driver's license with a semi clean driving record
• Ability to drive to various locations for service calls
• Comfortable using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment related to pest control or lawn care We offer competitive pay based on experience and performance.
