Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pest Control Technician and become a vital part of safeguarding homes, businesses, and outdoor spaces from unwanted pests. In this energetic role, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge, pest control expertise, and customer service skills to identify, treat, and prevent pest issues effectively. Your proactive approach will ensure safe handling of chemical agents, adherence to safety protocols, and delivery of exceptional service to clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, operate company vehicles and power tools, and apply integrated pest management strategies to create pest-free environments. We pride ourselves on being a customer centric Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points. Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely following pesticide management guidelines and safety protocols. Utilize hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, ladders, and other equipment to perform pest control treatments efficiently. Follow ladder safety procedures and confined space entry safety procedures when working at heights or in restricted areas. Implement integrated pest management techniques by assessing pest behavior and selecting appropriate treatment methods. Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, treatment locations, and pest activity reports for compliance and future reference. Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans, safety precautions, and ongoing prevention strategies while delivering excellent customer service. Experience Prior outdoor work experience in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable. Knowledge of entomology principles related to pests commonly encountered in residential or commercial settings. Familiarity with pesticide application knowledge including proper handling of pest control chemicals and respiratory protection measures. Experience operating company vehicles safely along with understanding of driving regulations. Driving record submission required if chosen for interview. Comfort using hand tools, power tools, ladders (including ladder use and ladder safety procedures), farm machinery, and other equipment necessary for pest control tasks. Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence when handling chemicals or working in confined spaces. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain treatment procedures clearly and professionally. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a difference by protecting properties from pests while developing their skills in pest management techniques! Please note pay range depends on experience and on lincensure status. Wildlife experience a plus.
