A Tree Climber or Trimmer trims and prunes trees. Clears away excess branches near utility lines or over roads or sidewalks. Prunes dead or diseased tree limbs to improve the appearance and health of the tree. Uses rigging equipment and may work from a truck powered lift; uses chain saws and other power equipment.

Job Description

Jarvis Tree Service is currently hiring for full-time positions (40-60 hours per week). Prior tree service experience and a valid driver's license are required. Must be able to use a chainsaw and safely back up a one-ton truck with a trailer. You must also be comfortable with heights and physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license (no DWIs or high-risk violations) Prior tree service experience Ability to operate chainsaws and backup trailers Comfortable with heights and physically demanding tasks Dependable, punctual, and willing to work hard

Bring your driver's license - we will need to make a copy. Pay starts at $16.00 to $22.00 per hour , based on experience and work ethic Experienced climbers : $50.00/hour while climbing (experience will be verified)
