In this role, you will perform tree pruning, trimming, removals, and other tree care services while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. This position is ideal for an experienced climber who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering exceptional results. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Climb trees using ropes, saddles, and other approved climbing equipment. Perform tree pruning, trimming, thinning, and removals. Safely rig and lower tree sections using proper rigging techniques. Operate chainsaws, pole saws, woodchippers, stump grinders, and other tree care equipment. Inspect trees for hazards, disease, and structural concerns. Maintain climbing gear, tools, and equipment in safe working conditions. Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe. Follow company safety policies and participate in required safety training. Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and customers. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of professional tree climbing experience preferred. Experience performing tree pruning and removals. Knowledge of climbing techniques, rigging, and tree care equipment. Ability to safely operate chainsaws and other tree care equipment. Valid California Driver's License required; CDL is a plus. ISA Arborist or Tree Worker certification is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to climb trees and work at varying heights. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
