Trufast Tree Service is a locally trusted tree care company committed to safety, professionalism, and a healthy work environment. We handle everything from tree removals and trimming to emergency services and stump grinding. We're looking for an experienced crew member who already knows tree work and has some climbing experience. Position Overview This is a full-time field role for someone who has already worked on a tree crew and has spent time climbing. You'll climb on removals, trimming, and pruning when the job calls for it, and you'll work the ground with the rest of the crew: saws, brush, the chipper, rigging, and job-site safety. Rope climbing, bucket work, or both fits. If you hold a Class B, you'll also drive our larger trucks. Key Responsibilities Climb to help with tree removal, trimming, and pruning, using rope, a bucket, or both as assigned Work with crew leaders on rigging and handling wood, from aloft and on the ground Drive big trucks that require a Class B CDL, if you hold one Load and unload tools and equipment from trucks Drag brush, wood, and debris to the chipper and operate the chipper safely Use hand tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, rakes, and blowers Set up and maintain safe work zones, including cones, signs, and flagging Clean up job sites thoroughly after each project Perform equipment and tool maintenance as directed Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Drug free, including THC Prior experience in tree care Some climbing experience Valid driver's license Class B CDL preferred Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions Comfortable working at height around houses, fences, and power lines Strong work ethic, reliability, and a safety-conscious, team-oriented attitude A reliable way to get to work.
