Overview Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Tree Climber and take your passion for arboriculture to new heights! In this energetic role, you will be at the forefront of tree care, utilizing your climbing expertise and technical skills to maintain healthy, safe, and beautiful landscapes. Your hands-on approach will ensure trees are properly pruned, trimmed, and managed, contributing to the safety of communities and the health of urban forests. Responsibilities Safely ascend trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing techniques to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks. Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access hard-to-reach areas efficiently and securely. Use rigging techniques to carefully lower branches or debris, ensuring safety for team members and property. Assist in ground operations as needed. Maintain equipment such as climbing gear, chainsaws, and bucket trucks in excellent condition through routine inspections. Collaborate with team members on project planning, ensuring adherence to safety standards and best practices in tree care. Requirements Proven experience as a tree climber with a strong background in tree care, pruning, and trimming techniques. Demonstrated proficiency in rigging methods for safe branch removal and debris handling. Ability to operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts safely while performing elevated work. Growing experience in arboriculture or landscape maintenance is highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively with crew. Familiarity with tree care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping practices. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to climbing, rigging, and equipment operation. Ideal candidates will possess a passion for arboriculture combined with technical skills that support sustainable tree management practices.
