What they do

A Tree Climber or Trimmer trims and prunes trees. Clears away excess branches near utility lines or over roads or sidewalks. Prunes dead or diseased tree limbs to improve the appearance and health of the tree. Uses rigging equipment and may work from a truck powered lift; uses chain saws and other power equipment.

Tree Climber II Spikes-Out Tree Care, Llc Concord, NC Job Details Full-time From $38 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications Outdoor work experience Chainsaw Driver's License Bucket truck Commercial vehicle Full Job Description Responsibilities Perform tree climbing, ground work, and (when applicable) aerial‑lift duties under the direction of the Arborist Crew Leader on residential and commercial properties. Safely carry out pruning, tree removals, cabling and bracing, rigging, and root collar excavations using industry‑recognized techniques. Identify tree species and assist with basic tree risk and condition assessments. Maintain and operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and other tree‑care equipment in accordance with safety standards. Follow all company safety policies, participate in training, and promote a culture of safe work practices.
Qualifications :
Must have there own climbing Gear Passion for the outdoors, trees, and environmental work. At least one year of tree‑climbing experience (DdRT or SRT) in the tree care industry. Experience operating aerial lifts or bucket trucks is strongly preferred. Valid driver's license (Class B CDL is a plus but not required). Ability to work outdoors year‑round in varying weather conditions.
