Tree Climber Tesla Tree Service Pitman, NJ 08071 $50 an hour - Full-time $50 an hour - Full-time Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tree Climber and become a vital part of maintaining healthy, beautiful landscapes! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for climbing and pruning trees, ensuring safety and aesthetic appeal while utilizing specialized equipment. Your expertise will help preserve urban and rural green spaces, support tree health, and enhance the environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in tree care, landscaping, and technical rigging while working outdoors in a fast-paced, rewarding setting under the guidance of an ISA Certified Arborist. Responsibilities Safely ascend trees using climbing gear and techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal tasks. Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access high branches efficiently and securely. Implement rigging procedures to control the fall of branches or entire trees during removal or pruning projects. Maintain all safety protocols during climbing operations and equipment handling to ensure a secure work environment. Experience 4 years minimum prior experience in tree care is required. (Climbing, rigging, ropes, and ground support). Demonstrated ability in tree trimming, pruning, and removal. Knowledge of rigging methods and proper use of climbing gear is essential. Familiarity with bucket operation and bucket truck safety procedures is preferred. Strong commitment to safety standards and continuous learning in tree care practices. Valid Driver's License.
