Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tree Service Estimator to join our team. In this vital role, you will evaluate client needs, prepare accurate project estimates, and coordinate with crews to ensure seamless project execution. Your expertise in tree care, landscaping, and related fields will help us deliver outstanding results while fostering strong customer relationships. Responsibilities Assess job sites using rigging techniques, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and other tools to determine scope of work Prepare detailed estimates for tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, landscaping, and lawn care projects Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide clear explanations of services and costs Coordinate with crew members regarding project requirements such as bucket operation, bucket truck usage, or specialized equipment Ensure all estimates include considerations for tree care practices like trimming and horticulture best practices Maintain accurate records of estimates, project details, and client communications Assist in developing growth opportunities by recommending landscape maintenance or additional services Qualifications Proven experience in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture with growing knowledge of industry standards Strong understanding of rigging techniques and equipment safety procedures Familiarity with GIS technology for site assessment and planning Experience operating bucket trucks and other aerial lift equipment such as bucket operation tools Knowledge of tree trimming techniques, lawn care practices, and landscape maintenance strategies Ability to evaluate project scope accurately through site inspections and client consultations Excellent communication skills to explain estimates clearly and professionally Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to enhancing outdoor spaces!
