Job Description
Lead Climber / Crew Foreman - Tree Service Wimberley / San Marcos, TX $28-$35/hr DOE | Full-Time Wimberley Tree Service is looking for an experienced Lead Climber / Crew Foreman to lead our tree care crew. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is an experienced climber but is also ready to take ownership of the crew and the quality of work being performed. What you'll be responsible for: Leading a 2-4 person tree crew in the field Climbing and performing technical removals and pruning Directing crew members and keeping jobs moving efficiently Making sure the scope of work is completed correctly before leaving the property Maintaining high standards for pruning, cleanup, and property protection Enforcing safe work practices and proper equipment use Communicating with the owner about job progress, problems, and equipment needs Taking responsibility for the jobsite from arrival through final cleanup We're looking for someone who: Has professional tree climbing experience Is comfortable with removals, rigging, pruning, and working around structures Can lead and hold a crew accountable Takes pride in doing the job correctly without needing constant supervision Is dependable, organized, and communicates well Treats customers, coworkers, equipment, and properties professionally Has a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Can work outdoors in Central Texas conditions ISA certification, CDL, CTSP, crane experience, and additional arboriculture experience are a plus, but not required.
