Job Description

PURPOSE Provides support to employees and members for all E-Commerce services in accordance with the Credit Union's established policies, procedures, and core values. To achieve the objectives of the Credit Union, these responsibilities shall be executed promptly, courteously, and accurately.
FUNCTIONS
Responsible for member marketing of the Credit Union and to maintain knowledge of all services offered to support the Credit Union's Vision and Core Values. Responsible for balancing item processing in Symitar to Catalyst for each office location, for ITM, ATM, and Mobile Deposits. Responsible for processing return item chargebacks. Responsible for processing daily share draft returns in Symitar. Responsible for foreign item mailing and followup to ensure credits are received. Responsible for Contact Event Management. Responsible for Shared Branching returns. Responsible for providing support for member service directed telephone inquiries. Responsible for maintaining familiarity, compliance and proficiency with all policies and procedures, as well as regulations and association/vendor rules pertinent to job responsibilities. Actively contributes to the success of the Credit Union by working positively within the community, department and with coworkers. Cross train and perform the duties of other ECommerce staff as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
PREREQUISITES FOR THE POSITION
Minimum Education:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
Two years' experience in the financial services industry with an emphasis on member service and problem solving required. Data entry and ten key by touch are highly desirable. Prior experience with MVFCU may be considered in lieu of a portion of the above experience.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of computer software including Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows required. NCP certified within 36 months of assuming this position. Experience with Catalyst or similar software desired. Must have previous experience with Symitar's Episys or similar Core processing software. Must have good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task. A professional demeanor is required with the ability to communicate effectively with members, internal and external customers, co-workers and management.

Must be of the highest integrity and with personal habits above reproach. Must practice confidentiality. Must be a mature person with sound judgment. Must have the ability to meet and work effectively with people of varying levels of education and experience and be able to communicate, both written and orally with same. Must have a high degree of self-motivation, be detail oriented, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and making sound decisions. Must be able to take directions and seek the council of supervisor as necessary.
Working Conditions:
Continuous alertness, precision, and concentration to ensure accuracy and thoroughness of documents and transactions. Occasional travel is required. This position may require extended or irregular hours. Continuous standing and/or sitting for long periods of time when performing other duties related to the position.
