In this role, you will be responsible for restoring Allison transmissions to optimal working condition through precise disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced industrial environment where technical expertise and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in industrial maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on experience with transmission systems and related components. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Duties Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild Allison transmissions using detailed schematics and technical manuals Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and calipers to ensure component specifications are met Perform hydraulic repairs and adjustments, ensuring proper function of hydraulic systems within transmissions Operate welding equipment, including welding techniques, to repair or modify transmission parts as needed Conduct electrical troubleshooting involving low voltage, high voltage, and electrical schematics to identify faults or failures Test rebuilt transmissions on specialized test benches or field service environments using analysis skills to verify performance before final assembly Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to industrial mechanics and electrical safety standards Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing facilities with a focus on industrial mechanic work or transmission rebuilding Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, electrical systems, schematics, and precision measuring instruments Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently Prior field service experience or military background involving technical maintenance is highly valued Fluency in English with strong communication skills for documentation and teamwork purposes Join us as an Allison Transmission Rebuilder where your technical expertise fuels our success!
