Medication Technician/ AMAP Schedule:

7:00 PM - 7:00
AM Requirements:
Every other weekend and holiday required Job ResponsibilitiesMedication Management & Resident Care Assist residents with activities of daily living, including: Bathing Dressing Grooming Eating/Feeding Toileting Transferring Ambulation Medication Management Administer medications according to community policies and procedures. Encourage resident participation in exercise programs and community activities. Assist residents during exercise programming and activity participation. Dining Services Support Help set up the dining room as directed. Serve meals to residents. Assist residents during mealtime as needed. Assist with dining room cleanup duties. Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures and promptly report accidents or injuries to the Resident Wellness Director, Resident Care Director, Wellness Nurse, or designee. Complete all required orientation and ongoing training in compliance with state regulations and community policies. Report changes in resident health status promptly to appropriate leadership. Maintain current local and state certifications, when applicable. Communication & Documentation Review and document information in the Daily Log routinely. Complete assignments and documentation as scheduled. Document appropriately in the Resident Service Book and other designated areas. Leadership Expectations Lead by example by being visible, involved, and accessible. Mentor and support new team members. QualificationsEducation High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Certification Medication Technician Certification required in West Virginia . Experience Six (6) months of prior long-term care experience preferred. Requirements Pre-employment drug screening Criminal background check Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong organizational and time management skills Caring, compassionate, and resident-focused attitude Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies if needed Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Effective reading, writing, and communication skills in the language of the residents
