We are currently seeking a skilled Ambulance Remount Technician to join our team at our climate-controlled shop in Kennedale, TX. As an Ambulance Remount Technician at Medic Built, you will play a crucial role in the refurbishment and customization of ambulance vehicles. You will be responsible for disassembling, modifying, and reassembling ambulance components, ensuring they meet industry standards and safety regulations. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.Responsibilities:
Disassemble and assess existing ambulance components. Modify and upgrade ambulance interiors and exteriors to meet customer specifications. Install new electrical and medical equipment in remounted ambulances. Perform welding, fabrication, and carpentry work as needed. Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and safety standards. Conduct quality inspections and testing to verify the functionality of remounted ambulances. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus. Previous experience in ambulance remounting, automotive customization, or a related field. Strong mechanical and technical skills. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Welding and fabrication experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of electrical systems and medical equipment installation. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Benefits:
