Anesthesiologist

Locum Anesthesiologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Boston, VA. VA license required.

Summer Coverage Only Specific Weeks:

June 8-12 (7a-5p), June 29- July 3rd (7a-5p) With Call if possible, August 10th to 14th (preferer with call) and Weekend call 15th and 16th, August 17th to 21st, August 31st to September 4th, September 7th to September 11th, September 21st to September 25th, September 28th to October 2nd

Required:

10 hrs.

Day Shift:

Required. Weeknight - On Call (Pager): Preferred. Weekend - On Call (Pager): Preferred. Holiday (Call): Preferred.

OT:

Not expected but offered.

Cases:

General, Ortho, Be Regional Proficient.

Required Specialty:

General, Ortho, Urology.

Board Certification Required:

Yes. Willing to Accept Candidates Needing to

Obtain State License:

Yes.

Site Charting System:

Epic.

No. Are MDs doing their own cases: Yes.

Other Notes:

Beeper call extremely light. In a full year there has only been one call in after 7pm. No ICU so NO emergency cases or very sick patients.

Credentialing:

90 days. $$2,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours. $Competitive Rate weeknight call Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day Premium When Called In. $Competitive Hourly pay + housing + car rental & gas + mileage (driving own car only) + parking + tolls + baggage fees + A++ rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
