Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician

Investors Management Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team at a property in Albany, GA part time. The ideal candidate is a reliable, skilled technician who takes pride in quality work and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on apartment units and common areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, and general maintenance issues.
• Complete unit turns including cleaning, painting, and repairs to prepare apartments for new residents.
• Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep accurate records of work completed and report supply and equipment needs.
• Communicate effectively with Property Manager and other staff regarding resident concerns, unit conditions, and work priorities.
• Adhere to Fair Housing laws and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Must supply own basic hand tools.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
