In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property leasing, customer service, and legal administrative procedures will ensure a seamless experience for applicants while maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines. Duties Greet prospective residents warmly, providing detailed information about available units, community amenities, and leasing options Conduct property tours, highlighting features and benefits to upsell units effectively Manage lease applications, verify applicant information, and process approvals using Yardi or OneSite property management software Prepare and review lease agreements, contracts, and legal documents ensuring compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and Fair Housing laws Maintain accurate data entry of tenant information, lease records, and filing of all relevant documentation Address resident inquiries via phone or in person with professional etiquette, resolving issues promptly and courteously Coordinate with maintenance teams to facilitate property upkeep and address any facilities management concerns Negotiate lease terms with applicants while adhering to legal standards and company policies Assist with landlord-tenant law compliance, Section 8 program requirements, and other regulatory procedures Support property marketing efforts through upselling amenities or available units to maximize occupancy Handle conflict management situations tactfully to ensure resident satisfaction and community harmony Skills Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law Proficiency in Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software (LIHTC modules preferred) Excellent customer service skills combined with effective sales techniques and negotiation abilities Legal administrative experience related to lease agreements and contracts Familiarity with data entry systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for facilities management records Ability to manage conflict professionally while maintaining positive resident relationships Office experience including filing, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions Knowledge of Section 8 voucher programs and related compliance requirements Strong organizational skills for handling multiple tasks such as leasing processes, data entry, and legal documentation efficiently Join us as an Apartment Leasing Agent - Experienced to make a meaningful impact by connecting residents with their ideal homes while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
