Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Arborist role based in Rosedale, NY, but as an arborist your "office" will be in a different location every day. The Arborist will focus on tree care and maintenance, including tree planting, pruning, and removal. Responsibilities include removing debris, pruning and removing trees, driving a truck and trailer, operating light equipment, and working cohesively as a team to get jobs done in a safe, high quality, and time effective manner. The role is for someone who values being outside every day and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. Requirements 1-2 Years experience doing Tree Work, Landscaping also acceptable Reliable transportation Valid drivers license Working papers/Legal Citizenship Commitment to workplace safety and ability to operate relevant equipment Ability to work as a team Strong communication skills Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions Preferences CDL Experience rigging Experience operating skid steers and other equipment Experience operating woodchipper Experience driving trucks and towing trailers Tree Climbing and or Bucket Truck operation experience Certified Arborist credential or willingness to pursue the certification Knowledgeable about Trees, including planting, maintenance, and disease management Benefits Experience and qualification based pay scale Opportunities for prevailing wage contract work Paid training on equipment and techniques

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
