ARCHITECT
to perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing construction, controlling projects from start to finish while ensuring high quality, innovative and functional design. The perfect candidate will develop architecture in line with client's needs will be involved in residential designs, from the earliest stages through to completion. What you'll do:
  • Identify clients' needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals.
  • Produce detailed technical drawings and make any necessary corrections.
  • Compile project specifications.
  • Keep within budgets and timelines.
  • Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
  • Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project.
  • Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals.
  • Follow architectural trends and advancements.
  • Work with internal and external architectural, sales and design professionals.
  • Interact with customers on a daily basis, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the process. What you'll need:
  • Minimum five years of full-time experience in an architectural capacity.
  • Strong portfolio to prove artistic/design skills.
  • Working knowledge of commercial and/or residential construction methods, techniques, and systems, and Ohio Residential Code. Must have a working knowledge of building trades including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, and know basic code requirements.
  • Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Revit, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar)
  • Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions.
  • Visual awareness and an eye for detail.
  • BS degree in Architecture.
  • Customer service oriented attitude; willing to work with the customer to achieve their desired outcome and achieve their overall satisfaction.
  • Effective communication (non-verbal, verbal, and written), job coordination, supervisory, organization, and management skills.
  • Excellent problem solving abilities, proven ability to be a multi-tasker and decision maker.
  • Ability to interact and communicate appropriately team members, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Willingness to be a team player, learn, follow, and enforce company policies and standards.
  • Flexibility to embrace new duties and responsibilities and "wear many hats."
  • High performance relating to punctuality and loyalty. Must be goal oriented, organized and detail oriented, and possess overall professionalism. What you'll get:
