Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect to join our team for the development and execution of a landmark custom residential project located in Los Angeles. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in the realization of a high-profile residence. The project features complex geometry, sophisticated detailing, extensive consultant coordination, and an accelerated schedule. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and experienced in translating ambitious design concepts into clear, coordinated, and buildable construction documents. About the Role Working directly with the principal, you will take a leading role in the technical development, coordination, and documentation of a significant custom residential project. This position may be structured as either a full-time role or a project-based contract assignment, depending on the candidate's experience and availability. Responsibilities Technical Leadership Lead development of construction documents for a high-end custom residence Resolve complex architectural and building envelope conditions Produce and oversee detailed architectural sections, details, and assemblies Maintain design intent while ensuring constructability and code compliance Consultant Coordination Coordinate closely with structural, MEP, landscape, lighting, and specialty consultants Review consultant drawings for consistency and integration Identify and resolve conflicts proactively Project Delivery Support permitting and plan check responses Participate in contractor coordination and construction administration Help maintain project momentum within an aggressive schedule Qualifications 8+ years of professional architectural experience Significant experience with high-end custom residential projects Exceptional construction documentation and detailing skills Strong understanding of building assemblies, waterproofing, and exterior envelope systems Experience coordinating complex consultant teams Ability to work independently and solve technical challenges with minimal oversight Strong communication and organizational skills Why This Opportunity Is Unique This project offers the opportunity to work on a highly visible custom residence in one of Southern California's premier coastal locations.
