Type:

full-time Gordon Prill, Inc. is a dynamic Design-Build firm located in the heart of Silicon Valley in Sunnyvale, CA with a 45-year history of successfully delivering projects for our clients. We work with established clients in the aerospace, biotech, science and technology and university markets requiring innovative design solutions for research, testing, manufacturing and production facilities. Gordon Prill, Inc. is seeking a talented Senior Architect with the experience and skills to develop designs for complex industrial and technology projects from inception through construction documents. This person will be an essential member of a team of in-house professionals including architects, designers, mechanical and electrical engineers and construction managers. Salary will be commensurate with educational background and project experience.

Requirements:

Licensed Architect in California 10 years minimum Architectural Design or Project Management experience Experience with Labs, Clean Rooms and Industrial projects Ability to own a project from start to finish with ability to oversee the execution of the team and consultants through the design development process. Strong production skills using Autodesk Revit Strong production skills using AutoCAD Knowledge of current Title 24, CBC and local Building and Fire Codes is essential Experience with local planning and building department approval processes including zoning approvals, entitlements, and building permits. (DSA and HCAI experience are a plus) Effective and strong presentation skills Comfortable representing the company as project contact with client management and end-users Clear written and verbal communication skills to direct a team of architects, engineers, and consultants to create comprehensive drawings and reports that meet client's expectations and schedules Strong teamwork skills to facilitate collaboration, creativity and professional development with others.

Education:

BA or BArch or Masters in Architecture from an accredited university LEED accreditation desirable, but not required
