Architectural Job Captain

" They require someone who genuinely appreciates the rigor, who sees
OSHPD/HCAI
compliance not as a burden but as a framework to master, and who takes real pride in fully coordinating a set of documents that reads cleanly. What You'll Do Drive construction document production on complex healthcare projects from SD through CA and close out. Own the technical resolution of your projects
  • coordinating structural, MEP, and specialty consultants to make sure everything fits, functions, and complies.
Lead individual or team QA/QC efforts and ensure drawing sets hold up under plan check scrutiny. Manage RFIs, submittals, and field issues during construction with confidence and clarity. Mentor emerging staff and help build a culture where technical excellence is the standard. Who You Are You're a self-starter who doesn't wait to be told what needs doing
  • you see a gap and close it. You have 5-8+ years of architectural experience, with meaningful time spent on healthcare or other highly regulated project types. You know your way around Revit at a production level, and you understand California's regulatory landscape deeply
  • Title 24, CBC, and the HCAI environment. You're a problem solver at heart. When a detail doesn't work, you don't flag it and move on
  • you reach out to our team members for help, sketch some proposed solutions on your own for discussion, and bring your best efforts to the table.
