The Cearnal Collective is an award-winning Architecture and Interior Design firm located in beautiful downtown Santa Barbara. With over 40 years of local experience, the Collective boasts a wide range of project types and design styles. We are a highly collaborative, design-centric office looking for an ideal candidate who has excellent technical knowledge of architecture, as well as experience leading teams and developing creative solutions for unique challenges. Location:
Santa Barbara, CA Skills & Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field 8+ years of experience in the field of architecture Professional licensure is strongly preferred but not required Revit modeling literacy required Strong understanding of the principles and practices of architecture Comprehensive understanding of and experience with California state building codes and standards, technical detailing, and construction methods Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Must enjoy working in a highly collaborative studio environment
Responsibilities:
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions Mentor and direct a young and enthusiastic staff and maintain a hands-on approach to creating project documents Plan, develop, manage, and execute a variety of projects
