The firm has evolved since its founding in 1965 to the present FLB Architecture & Planning, Inc. established in 2000. During those six decades, the firm has maintained an office in the greater Manchester area and has worked to establish long-term relationships with all of its clients With nearly 130 years of professional experience, the principals of the firm bring an extensive knowledge base to every project that it undertakes on behalf of its clients. FLB Architecture & Planning has consistently focused its efforts on projects within the Central Connecticut area allowing it to establish excellent long-term relationships with the administrative staffs of most of the towns and the land use agencies of those towns. A qualified candidate should be licensed. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with AutoCAD 2018 or higher and have strong communication skills. Principle Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 1. Produce CAD construction drawings independently and as a team including plans, sections, elevations, details and schedules. 2. Experience in presentations in a a public setting (clients, governmental agencies, etc). 3. Experience in managing projects from inception through construction. 4. Ability to meet with and understand the needs of clients. 5. Ability to document existing building conditions and produce base plans and details in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
