By integrating architecture, interior design, estimating, procurement, and construction management under one roof, we provide clients with a seamless experience from concept through completion. We are seeking an experienced licensed architect for its architectural division in Lincolnwood and/or Hinsdale. Responsibilities Licensed architect with construction experience in single family residential projects, including high end remodeling and renovations. Candidate must be capable of producing and directing production drawings for a residential design build team. The position requires the ability to keep up with a fast paced environment with attention to detail. 10+ years of field experience preferred with an understanding of residential framing, EMP's and construction detailing. Must be able to detail and/or direct framing details to junior staff members. Experienced in permit submittals and receipts in Chicago and surrounding municipalities. Ability to design, draw and interact with clients and municipal officials when needed. Ability to manage other junior architects and drafts people to a schedule and time lines. Strong communication skills for client interaction and field personal. AutoCAD and Excel are required. Experience with Chief Architect is a plus Collaborate closely with internal design, construction, and client teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals. Maintain organized documentation and update plans according to feedback and construction requirements. Manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors or Masters in Architecture from an accredited university. Minimum of 10 years of experience in residential construction AutoCAD proficient State of Illinois, or equal, architect's license Chicago Self Certification a plus Experience with MS Office products, Word, Excel and Outlook a must. Availability to work flexible hours to accommodate the fast-paced nature . Attention to detail.
