Project Architect RATIO Architects Inc. $75,000 - $95,000 parental leave, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) United States, Missouri, Kansas City Aug 17, 2026 Kansas City We are seeking an experienced Project Architect with years of professional experience to join our growing team in Kansas City, Missouri. Role In this role, you will lead the technical coordination and documentation of complex architectural projects, ensuring that design intent translates into technically sound, constructable, and high-quality deliverables. Responsibilities Manage technical team operations, delegate tasks, and coordinate QA/QC across project phases Lead production of comprehensive, constructable documentation and integrate multi-disciplinary inputs Oversee clash detection, coordination, code compliance, and enforce firm standards and BIM best practices Coordinate with consultants and clients on technical matters, permitting, RFIs, and constructability solutions Manage submittals, respond to code officials, and participate in OAC and construction meetings Balance team workload, anticipate challenges, and align project resources with timelines Guide emerging professionals in design delivery and lead internal workshops on tools and workflows Collaborate with leadership to document processes and strengthen institutional knowledge sharing Qualifications Bachelor's degree in architecture 5-10 years of professional design delivery experience Strong technical understanding of documentation, systems, and detailing Proven experience in construction administration and quality management Proficiency in BIM tools (REVIT, AutoCAD) and design software (Clarity, Pirros, Avail) Excellent communication and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex projects Salary & Benefits RATIO offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending, and a wellness program available to employees and dependents.
