Position Overview We seek an experienced Project Architect with 5+ years of experience to lead project teams and create success for the client and Schooley Caldwell. Creativity and collaboration are at the heart of your work. Your Role Responsible for leading a project team through the coordination and delivery of project detailing and documentation Oversee the work of designers and intern architects Responsible for coordination of engineering and other consultants Contribute to all aspects and phases of the architectural design process Assist in creating project schedules and budgets Knowledgeable about building codes, construction techniques, as well as building materials Attend and often lead project meetings Establish and nurture client relationships Participate in professional development and mentorship roles Participate in marketing/business development efforts Desire for professional advancement Skills and Qualifications Licensed architect with current registration in the State of Ohio A minimum of 5 years of experience in all phases of architectural projects Knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and building systems Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (Revit) and AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite Knowledge of architectural billings Considered a leader with the ability to mentor and help others grow professionally Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and have excellent verbal and written skills Demonstrate strong organizational skills and have the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously Interest in historic preservation and adaptive resuse Experience with the State of Ohio, other public, and civic projects What's it like to work here?
