We are an established interior design firm with a strong and expanding brand, nearly 1M followers across social media, a book launch, and an exciting portfolio of high-end residential projects. This is a hybrid role for someone who lives close to the Santa Barbara, Ventura, Ojai, or Montecito areas and can meet regularly with the lead designer while maintaining ongoing communication throughout each project. We're looking for someone to serve as the technical backbone of our studio, the person who can help bring beautifully layered, design-driven homes to life from start to finish. Our projects are guided by what we call topophilic design spaces that feel deeply rooted in where they belong. If you're excited by thoughtful architecture, collaboration, and high-end residential work, this could be a great fit. Responsibilities Produce elevations, floor plans, working drawings, and construction documents Manage timelines, revisions, and deliverables across multiple projects Coordinate with structural engineers, contractors, trades, and local building departments Ensure design intent is buildable, code-compliant, and executed accurately Maintain clear, consistent communication with the lead designer Conduct site visits as needed Qualifications 5+ years of experience as an architect Professional licensure strongly preferred Strong command of CAD and construction documentation Proficiency in SketchUp; Revit experience is a plus Experience working on working drawings, residential renovations, and cabinet renderings Strong project management and time management skills Ability to balance multiple active projects efficiently Excellent communication and collaboration skills Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized Management or team leadership experience is a plus Degree in
