Job Description

Lead Project Architect We are a growing architectural and design firm committed to delivering exceptional, sustainable, and innovative building solutions. Our team values creativity, structural integrity, and collaborative project management. We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Architect to drive the design and development of our most complex projects — from initial concept through final completion. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants ownership of the full project lifecycle and a voice in how we build. What You'll Do Project Lifecycle Management — Oversee all phases of architectural projects, from pre-design, conceptual frameworks, and feasibility studies through construction administration and closeout. Design & Documentation — Lead the creation of detailed construction documents, floor plans, sections, and structural details using Revit and AutoCAD. Code & Compliance — Conduct comprehensive code analyses and ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning ordinances, and ADA accessibility regulations. Client & Stakeholder Relations — Meet directly with clients to define requirements, present design solutions, and refine designs based on feedback. Consultant & Team Coordination — Integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, and mentor junior architectural staff throughout the project. Construction Administration — Conduct regular site visits, review submittals and shop drawings, and resolve on-site design challenges with contractors. Budget & Schedule — Ensure design deliverables and project milestones are met on time and within budget. What You Bring 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design and construction documentation Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university Advanced daily proficiency in BIM software (Revit), CAD, and 3D modeling tools (SketchUp, Rhino) Deep working knowledge of current construction materials, building methods, and zoning legislation Exceptional project management, critical-thinking, and written/verbal communication skills What We Offer $75,000 - $95,000 annually, based on experience Medical, dental, and vision coverage A collaborative team where your design input shapes the work Complex, varied projects with real ownership from concept to closeout Architect License not required Ready to lead projects you're proud to put your name on?
