Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Architect to lead innovative architectural projects from conception through completion. This pivotal role combines technical expertise with creative vision, ensuring that each project meets high standards of design excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable practices. As a Senior Project Architect, you will collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and construction teams to deliver exceptional architectural solutions that align with project goals and budget parameters. Your leadership will drive project success while fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking design environment.construction issues effectively. As a Senior Project Architect, you will play a leadership role from design development through construction, working closely with project designers, consultants, contractors, clients, and internal teams. You will be responsible for helping translate strong design ideas into highly resolved, technically excellent buildings while providing mentorship and leadership to project teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the architectural development and technical execution of complex projects.
• Coordinate projects from design development through construction documentation and construction administration.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project architects, designers, and technical staff.
• Collaborate closely with project designers to protect and strengthen the architectural design intent.
• Manage consultant coordination and integration of structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, landscape, lighting, and specialty systems.
• Lead quality-control reviews and help maintain POSS documentation and detailing standards.
• Participate in client presentations, project meetings, contractor coordination, and construction-phase decision making.
• Assist project managers with schedules, staffing, work plans, budgets, and project delivery strategies.
• Identify technical, coordination, permitting, constructability, and scheduling issues before they become project problems.
• Help advance firmwide standards for architectural documentation, detailing, BIM, and project delivery.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Approximately 10+ years of architectural experience , with substantial responsibility for project delivery.
• Architectural licensure strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with high-end custom residential architecture .
• Experience with commercial, hospitality, resort, multifamily, or mixed-use architecture is highly desirable.
• Advanced understanding of architectural detailing, building systems, materials, construction methods, and building codes.
• Strong experience producing and coordinating sophisticated construction-document packages.
• Strong Revit/BIM capabilities and experience working within collaborative BIM environments.
• Experience coordinating complex consultant teams.
• Experience working directly with contractors during construction.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to mentor younger staff and positively contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Experience working on projects in mountain communities, resort environments, or highly regulated jurisdictions is a plus. Pay:

$89,926.95 - $120,299.13 per year
