GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Parkway is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Architect to ensure that all design-build architectural documents meet the highest standards of quality while fulfilling project scope, schedule, and cost requirements. This role is essential in delivering exceptional architectural services that integrate construction expertise with innovative design. Utilizing BIM software, you will facilitate a clear understanding of projects for clients during the design phases and foster collaboration between architecture and construction teams.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Review all deliverables to clients for accuracy and quality assurance. Conduct thorough reviews of architectural drawings to ensure precision and compliance with standards. Monitor project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and proactive identification of potential delays. Review construction cost analyses for accuracy and relevance to project budgets. Coordinate projects effectively with Architects to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Provide training on architectural and construction processes as needed to enhance team capabilities. Monitor project finances, ensuring that costs remain within budgetary constraints. Communicate project status, updates, and any issues with clients to maintain transparency and trust.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Architecture.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Registered Architect with significant experience in managing building projects, including development, architecture, construction, and owner representation.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and production. Proficiency in CADD, BIM, and Office software programs; ability to produce drawings, reports, and presentations as needed. Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively. Self-motivated, quality-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
