Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect / Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary federal facility projects from planning and concept development through final design and construction administration. This role serves as both a technical leader and trusted advisor to clients while managing project delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, mentoring junior professionals, and supporting business development across Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, and other federal agencies. Key Responsibilities Lead and facilitate the technical development of architectural projects, consulting with Project Managers and Principals, from conceptual design through construction Seamlessly coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, planners, designers, engineers), both internal and external partners, to ensure projects are executed successfully within project budgets Develop architectural design concepts in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and participate in all design phase activities, providing expertise in detail development Create presentation documents (illustrative graphics and visuals) and assist in business development efforts, presenting to leadership, stakeholders, partners, and customers Assist and consult on engineering drawings and specifications for all project phases, ensuring that designs meet applicable building code requirements Develop Revit models, lead BIM coordination, and lead interdisciplinary model integration Basic Qualifications Licensed Architect is required (RA) Minimum of 10 years' experience providing architectural quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), conceptual design, space and site planning, and architectural design services Bachelor's degree in Architecture from NAAB-accredited program.
